Top American producer hints at a possible Wizkid and Davido collaboration
This will not be the first time that the music industry will witness two heavyweights coming together to work on a song after a long drawn feud.
Wizkid and Davido may have a joint record coming anytime soon.
The duo are the two biggest names in the Nigerian music industry for the past few years and following a long drawn feud, Wizkid and Davido eventually put an end to their beef when they appeared together on stage at a Lagos concert in December 2017.
Since then, it has been love from the duo as Wizkid also shared the stage with Davido at his 30 Billion Tour held at the Indigo at the O2 Arena in London earlier in the year.
Fans from both sides have constantly clamoured for them to put out a song together and there are indications that their wish might be getting granted anytime soon.
This hint was made known through a tweet by popular American producer, Tay Keith, on Wednesday, December 5th, where he posted, ''Davido and Wizkid for the culture.''
He recently co-produced Travis Scott's monster single 'Sicko Mode' and has in the past worked with artistes like Drake, Eminem and Lil Baby.
Davido reveals how he ended feud with Wizkid
In an exclusive interview with Native Magazine earlier in the year, Davido shared how they both decided that it was time to move on and end the beef which had lingered on for years.
"It just got to a point where we just thought, this shit is getting old. I mean, it got physical between our camps. We just wanted to make the relationship mutual.
He has three kids, I have two kids. I’ve traveled a lot, I have experienced so much more in life, I have two artists that are doing well. Like, this shit is old bro, we’re not getting any younger," he said
PDP, Jimi Agbaje react as Ambode’s commissioner dumps APC
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reacted to the reported resignation of the Lagos State commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Wale Oluwo.
Oluwo, on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and also vowed to with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)guber candidate, Jimi Agbaje.
The former commissioner also alleged that a powerful group in the APC had been violating the principle of separation of powers.
PDP reacts
According to Daily Post, the Lagos state chapter of the PDP, in a statement signed by its spokesman, Taofik Gani said Oluwo made the right decision.
The party also called on the Lagos residents to “join the revolution to free Lagos.”
The statement reads: “He has taken a political step never to be regretted. We encourage all remaining true democrats to join the PDP now. Lagos has been in bondage of a unipolar rule and control
“Indeed with all that can be conceded to Ambode as due performances, he was denied a second term on the selfish, flimsy, vindictive excuse that he refused to fund the APC chieftains. Our emphasis here is that the APC is desperately holding onto Lagos State to enrich the chieftains directly or by bogus contracts awarded.
“We call on the Lagos electorate to join this revolution to free Lagos. We stand on our honour and before God to pledge that Lagos internally generated revenue shall be wholesomely spent for Lagos.”
Jimi Agbaje’s reaction
Also, the PDP governorship candidate in Lagos state, Jimi Agbaje welcomed Oluwo to the party, adding that he will work with the former commissioner to liberate Lagos state.
He said “The commissioner has displayed uncommon courage by the decision. He is a good example for others to follow as this empire begins to fall to pieces
“I am gladdened by the news of my brother’s defection to the PDP. Indeed, it is a welcome development which must be lauded and applauded by all lovers of freedom and democracy. By this singular gesture, Oluwo has counted himself worthy as a man of integrity.
“I look forward to teaming up with him to liberate our dear state from the shackles of bad governance and corruption

Mrs Buhari also warned her staff not to engage in any fraudulent activities, adding that “anyone found guilty will face the full wrath of the law’’.The wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, has dissociated herself from the N150 million scandal allegedly collected from unsuspecting members of the public by one Amina Mohammed, using her name.
Mrs Buhari also warned her staff not to engage in any fraudulent activities, adding that “anyone found guilty will face the full wrath of the law’’.
The warning was made in a statement by her Director of Information, Mr Suleiman Haruna, on Wednesday in Abuja.
The statement quoted Mr Haruna as saying that, “the wife of the President Mrs Aisha Buhari, has been following events related to investigation of a fraud suspect by the Department of State Services (DSS) and wishes to dissociate herself from all the individuals involved in the stated fraud case.”

OSCOTECH, Esa-Oke staff kidnappers contact victims’ families for ransom
The kidnappers were said to be demanding for ransom before the victims could regain their freedom.Suspected kidnappers of eight staffers of the Osun College of Technology (OSCOTECH), Esa-Oke, Osun, kidnapped on Tuesday have contacted the families of the remaining four victims.
The kidnappers were said to be demanding for ransom before the victims could regain their freedom.
A family member of one of the victims, who pleaded anonymity, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in a chat on the social media said that she was already in touch with the kidnappers.
“I am now on negotiation with the kidnappers, but they are insisting on N2 million.
“She said the kidnappers alleged that they had moved their victims to Benin. Our God is everywhere and He will settle the ransom for us in Jesus name.
“We really appreciate everyone for being there, sirs and mas. Let’s not relent yet.”
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Osun Police Command, Mrs Folashade Odoro, had earlier confirmed to NAN in Osogbo that four of the eight kidnapped staff members of OSCOTECH, had regained their freedom on Wednesday.
Odoro, however, declined to give further details relating to their freedom, but said police operatives were still working toward the release of the remaining four.
NAN had earlier reported that suspected gunmen on Tuesday kidnapped eight staff of the college and also killed one of them that tried to escape.
The institution’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Adewale Oyekanmi, told NAN on Wednesday that the staff members were attacked and kidnapped around 4:30p.m after the close of work on Tuesday.
Oyekanmi said the gunmen blocked the Esa-Oke Road leading to the college campus, stopped the vehicles of the staff and abducted them.
“One of the staff was shot and killed inside his car when he was trying to escape from the gunmen.
“The police, DSS and men of the OPC are helping in combing the bushes to see if they can rescue the kidnapped staff,” he told NAN.
Trevor Noah's American show mocks Buhari, Nigeria over 'Jubril from Sudan' controversy
While meeting with the Nigerian community in Poland on Sunday, December 2, 2018, Buhari dismissed the rumours, branding it 'ignorant and irreligious'.
"It's real me, I assure you. I will soon celebrate my 76th birthday and I will still go strong," he said.
His response to the controversy has been the subject of conversation all week as the international media took quite a hilarious position in reporting it.
Sitting beside Noah on the show, one of his correspndents, Michael Kosta, said, "Nigeria's real news sounds like a Nigerian scam email."
While mockingly speaking in a Nigerian accent imitating a scammer composing a scam email, he continued, "Dear sir, I'm a real president who's trapped in my country because they think I'm a clone. Please send me $10,000."
Kosta further joked that if a cloning technology exists, it would probably be first tested on 'somebody who doesn't matter' like the Nigerian president.
He said, "Now, we're supposed to believe that he's not a clone because, you know, if the CIA did have that technology, they're gonna test it on an African first. You don't just try that out on rich white people.
"The CIA chief is gonna be like, 'This might not work the first time, so find me somebody who doesn't matter. The president of Nigeria? Yes, that's perfect."
The show is not the first American TV show to discuss the topic. Jimmy Kimmel, the host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, also dedicated around two minutes of his show to put a hilarious spin on the story.
While many Nigerians felt the segment, and the reaction of the international media, brought ridicule on the entire country, Buhari's Senior Special Adviser on Foreign Relations and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, took to her Twitter account on Wednesday, December 5, to dismiss its seriousness.
She posted, "Cracking up on JimmyKimmelLive joke on the issue of @MBuhari cloning. Jimmy is a comedian. His source of livelihood. The joke is to the stupidly of even believing in the cloning narrative at all, not on PMB @Omojuwa @segalink . Won't waste energy on this . That's all."

The conspiracy theory was fueled by Buhari's frequent medical trips to London as the 75-year-old spent 154 days combined on two separate trips in 2017 treating an undisclosed ailment. Despite his health challenges, he's seeking re-election at the polls in the 2019 presidential election, scheduled for February 16, at which time he'll already be 76
